Suspect steals $1,200 worth of alcohol from Los Gatos Safeway

PENAL CODE VIOLATION: 8:25 a.m. at Fisher Middle School on Fisher Avenue. A construction worker had his pants down and was urinating in front of the school on the Roberts Road side. There were a lot of children outside at the time. Police were unable to locate him on arrival.

RECKLESS VEHICLE: 4:19 p.m. at Winchester Boulevard and Knowles Drive. A red Jeep was seen swerving and honking while driving southbound on Winchester Boulevard.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 5:09 p.m. on North Creek Trail. At least 10 teenagers were riding on motorized bikes southbound and using a device to sting people. The caller did not report any injuries or contact with the juveniles. Police were unable to locate them.

GRAND THEFT: 5:27 p.m. at Safeway on Union Avenue. Store staff said a suspect stole $1,200 worth of alcohol.

RECKLESS VEHICLE: 7:15 p.m. at Winchester Boulevard and Lark Avenue. A caller reported a suspect in a four-door white Mazda sedan throwing bottles at cars. Police were unable to locate the suspect.

GARBAGE COMPLAINT: 8:55 p.m. at Shannon and Hicks roads. A large amount of vegetation was dumped at the turnout on Hicks Road between Shannon Road and Burton Road. Cleanup was estimated to cost around $1,500.

PETTY THEFT: 4:23 p.m. at Affordable Treasures on Los Gatos Boulevard. Between 1:08 p.m. and 1:15 p.m., three suspects took about $100 worth of merchandise and fled in a silver sedan. The caller said they had video footage of the suspects and their vehicle.

NOISE DISTURBANCE: 9:08 p.m. on Golf Links Drive. A caller said there was a loud party with around 80 people about four or five houses away from their address. They said the guests might be underage and worried if it was unsafe.

NOISE DISTURBANCE: 10:21 p.m. at Stratford School on Belgatos Road. A caller said there were about 15 teenagers loudly chanting controversial statements. Police said they could hear the group in the background of the call and it sounded like a religious group. Authorities were unable to locate the group.
