Bay Area News Group girls athlete of the week: Tallyah Nasol, Archbishop Riordan basketball

Archbishop Riordan basketball player Tallyah Nasol is the Bay Area News Group girls high school athlete of the week for Jan. 13-18.

In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nasol finished with 43.73% of the vote. California basketball player Rachael Osicka took second with 40.03%.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.

The sophomore point guard made three 3-pointers and scored a team-high 14 points in Riordan’s 58-43 victory over Salesian.
