Commercial burglary: At 11:15 p.m., two suspects broke a lock and entered a storage shed behind Anchor’s restaurant on Big Basin Way.

Vehicle burglary: Between 7 p.m. on Feb. 5 and 6 a.m. on Feb. 6, someone broke through the window of a vehicle parked in the 13000 block of Carrick Street. The vehicle was searched, but nothing was reported stolen.

Feb. 7

Theft by false pretenses: At 9:23 a.m., Someone telephoned a Saratoga resident acting as an employee of the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, claimed the victim had an arrest warrant for missing jury duty, and instructed them to deposit cash in a cryptocurrency kiosk at a liquor store, which the victim did for a total loss of about $1,000.

Feb. 8

Residential burglary: Between 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., someone entered a residence in the 14000 block of Nutwood Lane by breaking a sliding glass door and stole foreign currencies and purses of an unknown value.

Vandalism, criminal threats: At 9:10 p.m., a motorist drove in front of the victim’s vehicle on Saratoga-Los Gatos Road at Montalvo Road, then slammed on the brakes, forcing the victim to stop. The motorist then exited the vehicle, kicked and punched the victim’s vehicle, and threatened to kill the victim.
