Yosemite is the focus of an updated winter storm warning issued at 3:48 a.m. on Friday by the National Weather Service. The warning is in effect until 10 p.m.
According to the , “Additional snow accumulations up to 12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.”
NWS Hanford CA“Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches,” the NWS said. “If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.”
