SAN JOSE — Two Nevada residents will be extradited to San Jose after allegedly attempting to kidnap a bank employee with plans to commit a bank robbery, the San Jose Police Department announced Thursday.
On Nov. 17, the two suspects allegedly impersonated federal officers and told a woman who worked at a bank that she was under arrest for unknown crimes at a residence in San Jose, authorities said. The woman refused to comply with the arrest because she was suspicious of the men, police said.
Police responded to a call of suspicious circumstances around 9:55 p.m. that same day, but the suspects were gone before officers arrived, authorities said.
In their investigation, police identified two suspects, 23-year-old Denzel Jones and 21-year-old Trashauna Outlaw, both residents of Henderson, Nevada. Investigators determined that the suspects planned to use the victim to commit a bank robbery, authorities said.

Jones and Outlaw were taken into custody after police acquired arrest warrants. They are being held in Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas after being arrested for multiple unrelated bank robberies they carried out in Nevada, police added.
Jones and Outlaw will be extradited to California, where they will be booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail on suspicion of impersonating a federal agent, attempted kidnapping and invasion of privacy through electronic tracking, authorities said.
