Learn about tarot at the Los Gatos Library

Introduction to tarot

On Sunday, March 2, stop by the Los Gatos Library from 1-3 p.m. for an introduction to tarot.

The class will outline the history of tarot and tarot cards, and offer a chance to learn shuffling techniques for the ancient practice. Registration is required to losgatosca.libcal.com/event/14114494.

Creek trail cleanup

Join the Los Gatos Kiwanis Club and the Los Gatos High School Key Club to help clean up the Los Gatos Creek Trail on Saturday, March 8, 10-11:30 a.m. Snacks, coffee and cleaning supplies will be provided. Volunteers should meet at the Old Forbes Mill parking lot behind 55 Church St. Visit lgkiwanis.org for more information.

Visit NUMU for free

On Sunday, March 2, visit New Museum Los Gatos during its First Free Sunday, when admission will be free from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Attendees can participate in guided tours of the museum at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Big Band celebration

In honor of the Los Gatos Saratoga Big Band’s 20th anniversary, the group will be hosting a celebration on Saturday, March 1, 4-6 p.m.

Attendees of all ages are invited to dance and celebrate with the band at Obi Studios at 320 Piercy Road in San Jose. Tickets are $10 at lgsbigband.com/20th-anniversary-party.html; children admitted free.
