Former Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant helped create a sandwich: Here’s where to find it

A former Golden State Warriors All-Star and NBA Champion helped create a sandwich that is now available across the Bay Area.

“The Steak by Kevin Durant” is a limited edition sandwich that launched globally at Joe & The Juice last week.

The sandwich ($16.85 in San Francisco, but price varies by location) is made of sliced steak, Grana Padano cheese, crunchy pickled cucumbers, tomatoes, arugula and honey mustard on toasted whole wheat panini bread. It has 33 grams of protein.

Joe & The Juice is calling it its “first-ever premium sandwich” that is inspired by Durant’s passion for health and sustained performance.

“The goal of this collab was simple: We got a great team together to create a great product,” Durant said in a statement. “I hope my fans and fans of Joe & The Juice enjoy.”

“The Steak” was launched last week and will remain in stores through June 30.
