Bay Area News Group boys athlete of the week: Ellis Fuller, El Cerrito baseball

El Cerrito baseball player Ellis Fuller is the Bay Area News Group boys athlete of the week for March 10-15.

In the boys poll, Fuller had 50.85% of the vote to finish first. Granada baseball player Tyler Kennedy was second at 28.97%, and California lacrosse player Collin Chan took third at 10.23%.

Fuller, a senior, totaled three hits and scored the game-winning run in the 11th inning as El Cerrito defeated Berkeley 5-4.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.
