Giant donations
Donors to the Stanford Blood Center have the chance to win a pair of Giants luxury suite tickets during the month of April. Nine winners will be selected to attend the game that takes place on Saturday, May 17 against the Oakland A’s at Oracle Park. Luxury suite tickets include food and beverages.

Bay Are Older Adults plan visit to animal farm, jailhouse
Stanford Blood Center has donation sites at 445 Burgess Drive, Suite 100, in Menlo Park; 515 South Drive, Suite 20, in Mountain View; and 295 E. Hamilton Ave. in Campbell. There is an immediate need for all blood types, especially type O.
Donors must be at least 17 years old and should be in good health with no cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms. They should bring a photo ID.

Historic jail tour
Orwell meets Elvis for an Animal Farm and Jailhouse Rock Day Trip hosted by Bay Area Older Adults. On April 22, adults ages 50 and older are invited to join a guided tour of the Coastside History Museum and Jail to learn about Half Moon Bay’s farming, surfing and railroad history and listen to jailhouse crime stories.
After lunch, visit an animal farm whose mission is to provide emotional support for those struggling with grief, illnesses and other challenges.
