Up 2-1 in the first-round, best-of-seven NBA playoff series, the Golden State Warriors look to take control against the Houston Rockets at the Chase Center in San Francisco Monday night. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. PT.
The Warriors won Game 3 at home on Saturday night even without Jimmy Butler as two-time NBA MVP Steph Curry poured in 36 points and Golden State got key contributions from Gary Payton II and Buddy Hield.
Butler is listed as questionable for Game 4, like he was for Saturday’s game after falling and landing on his backside during a rebound attempt in Game 2 last Wednesday.
A win Monday night would go a long way toward advancing out of the series for the Warriors as they would only need to win one of the remaining three games to move on. If the Rockets win, they would take back home-court advantage.
