The name change was announced amid a big renovation project at the Stateline casino. The new brand will become official July 1, and the renovation is expected to be completed next year, Caesars Entertainment said.
The Tahoe property is the second to bear the name; Caesars Republic Scottsdale opened in March 2024 as the first non-gaming Caesars hotel in the United States.
Harveys is Lake Tahoe’s oldest casino operation, having started in 1944 as a cafe and gas station with slot machines. It was bought in 2001 by Harrah’s, which is now Caesars Entertainment.
The other major casino resorts at Stateline are Harrah’s, Bally’s (formerly Caesars Tahoe and then Montbleu) and the Golden Nugget (formerly Hard Rock, Horizon, High Sierra and Sahara Tahoe).
