Down 2-1, the Golden State Warriors battle the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals at the Chase Center Monday. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. Pacific Time.
The Warriors kept Game 3 close on Saturday night but ultimately could not close out as Draymond Green fouled out and the defense suffered in his absence. Jimmy Butler scored 33 points and Jonathan Kuminga added 30 for the Warriors in the 102-97 loss.
Golden State struggled shooting early with Steph Curry sidelined as he recovers from a hamstring strain suffered in Game 1. The Warriors missed all five 3-point attempts in the first half and, despite making 10 of 18 attempts in the second half, could not catch the Wolves.
