ANTIOCH — A 31-year-old woman remained in critical condition at a hospital after a shooting Tuesday, police said.

Police were looking for who did the shooting in the 3900 block of Delta Fair Boulevard. Police said they were called to the scene about 8:50 p.m. and found the woman down with at least one gunshot wound.

Responding officers provided first aid to the woman until paramedics and an ambulance arrived. They transported her to a hospital, where she remained Wednesday morning.

Police said they believe the shooting was an isolated incident but released no other details. They did not have a description of the suspect and did not say whether they believe there is more than one.
