Taco Bell introduces Mike’s Hot Honey Diablo Sauce

Taco Bell has partnered with Mike’s Hot Honey on a new dipping sauce to go with its Crispy Chicken Nuggets.

Mike’s Hot Honey Diablo Sauce will debut Thursday, May 22. A news release calls it a reimagining of the popular condiment.

Chili-infused Mike’s Hot Honey made its debut at a Brooklyn pizzeria in 2010, according to its website, and has entered into many collaborations in recent years, including Chipotle Mexican Grill. But Taco Bell representatives describe blending it with its own Diablo Sauce as a “first-of-its-kind collab.”

Taco Bell introduced Diablo Sauce in packets a decade ago. It’s made with tomato paste and chilis and available in bottles at retailers such as Walmart.

Crispy Chicken Nuggets are sold in five- and 10-piece orders at about $3.99-$7.99. Other sauces include Hidden Valley Fire Ranch, Jalapeño Honey Mustard and Bell Sauce.

Taco Bell has chain has high hopes for crispy chicken. The news release calls Mike’s Hot Honey a step in a journey that will “ultimately lead to the fan-powered reveal of the crispy chicken icons permanently landing on menus in 2026.”

For now, the nuggets and the Hot Honey Diablo Sauce are only available for a limited time.
