Early bird tickets are available for Notre Dame High School’s 17th annual Women of Impact. The event recognizes and honors women who have made significant contributions through their leadership in the community.

This year, our community honoree is Judge Erica Yew, who has served on the Santa Clara County Superior Court since 2001. Our alum honoree is Dr. Sejal Tyle Hathi, current director of the Oregon Health Authority and former senior policy advisor for public health for the Biden administration.
Women of Impact is set for Friday, Oct. 17, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., at Signia by Hilton in downtown San Jose. Proceeds from the event support tuition assistance for students at the private girls high school.
Single tickets are $175 through Sept. 1 and $200 after that date at https://bit.ly/45f4s5W. Tables are $2,250 and $2,500, respectively.

Concerts on the Corner kicks off its 2025-26 season with mariachi music on Sept. 14 at First Congregational Church of San Jose. Mariachi Tapatio will play regional Mexican music rooted in the traditions of mariachi music in Jalisco.
The performance is set for 3 p.m. at the church, located at 1980 Hamilton Ave. in San Jose. Admission is free.
The concert series will bring a variety of musical performances to the Campbell and Willow Glen communities throughout the year. For more information, visit concertsonthecorner.org.
