SAN JOSE — A silver alert was issued Saturday night as authorities searched for a missing, at-risk man.
Yung So, 78, was last seen near Ashglen Way and North Jackson Avenue in San Jose at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the alert. He is believed to be traveling on foot.

So is 5’6″ tall and 165 pounds, authorities said. He has gray hair and brown eyes, and is wearing a white t-shirt and beige pants. An image of So can be viewed on the CHP Alerts social media post.
The silver alert was issued by the California Highway Patrol on behalf of the San Jose Police Department.
Anyone who sees So is asked to call 911.
