Where We Live: The Valkyries’ purple madness

In their inaugural season, the Golden State Valkyries have drawn sellout crowds night after night as fans flock to see the Bay Area’s newest team. The characters who arrive at Chase Center showcase the cultural cache the Valkyries have already amassed mere months into their existence.
