Slice House by Tony Gemignani will bring craft pizza, fresh pastas, beer, wings, salad and more to a location about a half-block from downtown Millbrae’s Broadway. Gemignani is known as the chef behind Tony’s Pizza Napoletana in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood as well as a number of other restaurants, and as a 13-time World Pizza Champion. The Millbrae location will be franchised and operated by the Yuksel family, which also leads the Haight Street and Belmont locations, according to a press statement.

“We are thrilled to bring Slice House to Millbrae and continue working with Tony to share his fast-casual, hand-crafted pizza concept with our community,” said Welat Yuksel. “Conveniently located off El Camino Real, this new location is ideal for lunchtime bites, post-work slices and community gatherings for friends and family.”

The new location is set to open in December. Additional new locations are planned in Livermore and Milpitas to join existing Bay Area operations in Mountain View, Belmont, Santa Clara, San Francisco, Castro Valley, San Leandro, Walnut Creek and Rohnert Park.

Details: Open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. daily at 357 El Camino Real, Millbrae; slicehouse.com
