SAN JOSE — One driver was killed and another driver suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision in south San Jose on Saturday afternoon, police said.
Few details about the crash were available late Saturday, other than that it occurred about 2:35 p.m. in the area of Foxworthy and Jarvis avenues, according to San Jose police.
Each vehicle was occupied only by a driver. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Foxworthy Avenue from Meridian Avenue to Jarvis Avenue was blocked off in both directions for investigation of the crash.
