Rock icons team up for major tour with 5 concert stops in California

New wave icon Billy Idol is hitting the road with Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.

They will be performing at arenas and amphitheaters, from April 30 to September 12, on Idol’s It’s a Nice Day To…Tour Again! road show.

The tour stops in the Bay Area on Sept. 14 at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley. There are also four other California dates — Sept. 12 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs area; Sept. 17 at Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland; Sept. 23 at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista; and Sept. 25 at Kia Forum in Inglewood.

The latter will help support Southern California Wildfire Relief. Five dollars from every ticket sold to the Kia Forum gig will be donated to American Red Cross (Los Angeles region). Idol will personally match this donation.

Billy Idol and Joan Jett tickets go on sale to the general public at 9 a.m. Jan. 24, ticketmaster.com.

There are also presale opportunities. See billyidol.net/tour for more information.
