Ice Cube brings ‘4 Decades of Attitude’ tour to the Bay Area

Ice Cube is heading back to town.

Hip-hop music icon Ice Cube, who is also a very successful actor, brings his Truth to Power: 4 Decades of Attitude tour to Oakland Arena on Sept. 25.

The trek, which is first North American headlining jaunt from Ice Cube in over a decade, will reportedly highlight the rapper’s 40-year career.

“Truth to Power is more than a tour — it’s a 40-year celebration,” Ice Cube said in a statement. “The world needs truth. The people need power. And that’s what my music brings. It’s gonna’ be next level to go from city to city with a major production unlike anything I’ve ever done before.”

Ice Cube tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. April 18, ticketmaster.com. There is also a fan club presale that begins at 10 a.m. April 16.

The tour announcement follows Ice Cube’s handprints being put to cement during a ceremony at the legendary TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on April 15.
