OAKLAND — A man was shot multiple times in East Oakland Wednesday morning, authorities said.
His age and condition were not immediately available, but he was said to be an adult, according to authorities.

The shooting, which was captured on a gunshot detection alert system, happened about 8:52 a.m. outside in the 8800 block of International Boulevard.
The man was found with at least two gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital, authorities said.
A motive for the shooting has not yet been determined. No arrests have been announced and no suspect information has been released.
Streets in the area were shut down while police investigated.
