Man suffers minor injuries during attempted robbery in Walnut Creek

WALNUT CREEK — A man suffered minor injuries after two people tried to rob him Wednesday morning in Walnut Creek.

The man was assaulted at about 11:45 a.m. Wednesday on the 3300 block of Arbolado Drive, about a block from Arbolado Park, according to the Walnut Creek Police Department. It does not appear the robbers took anything, in what police are calling “a crime of opportunity.”
