SAN JOSE — A person was injured in a fire at a Victorian home Thursday in San Jose, fire officials said.

Firefighters were called to the home in the first block of North 10th Street around 2 p.m., according to the San Jose Fire Department. By 2:23 p.m., the fire was under control.
One person was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries, fire officials said. A dog was also rescued.
The American Red Cross was called to assist seven people who were displaced by the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
