LIVERMORE — Someone playing the Fantasy 5 state lottery game at a Shell gas station here won $183,278 Thursday night, officials said.
The player was the only one statewide to pick all five numbers, which were 6, 11, 13, 33 and 37.

The ticket was purchased at the Livermore Shell station, 809 E. Stanley Blvd. that has been the site of prior $1 million dollar Scratcher game winners, the owner said.
Station owner Ben Bansal said Friday morning one of his cashiers believes the Fantasy 5 winner is a man who is a regular player at the station, but that had not been confirmed yet.
“I’m glad that a customer won,” he said. “That’s great for them.”
Bansal said customers have been even luckier buying Scratcher game tickets at the station. He said since they opened in 1994, two people have each won $1 million in a Scratcher game, including one in August of 2022.
The Fantasy 5 player has 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their winning.
It was the second time this week an East Bay lottery player won big playing Fantasy 5. On Tuesday, a Fantasy 5 game ticket worth $116,606 was bought at a 7-Eleven store on MacArthur Boulevard in Oakland’s Dimond district.
Fantasy 5 is played every night of the week. Friday’s night jackpot was to be at least $72,000.
