Jaden Rashada, one of the faces of the Name, Image and Likeness phenomenon when he left Pittsburg High School three years ago, has found another college home.
The former four-star quarterback prospect, who spent last season on the sidelines at the University of Georgia, is moving on to Sacramento State, he posted Friday on his Instagram account.
Rashada has played in only three college games, in 2023 at Arizona State, completing 44 of 82 passes for 485 yards and four touchdowns with three interceptions.
Before arriving at Arizona State, he had committed to Miami, then flipped to Florida.
He signed a national letter of intent with Florida in December 2022 but then reversed course when an NIL deal reportedly worth millions didn’t materialize.
He then signed with Arizona State, where his dad, Harlen, played defensive back in the early 1990s.
A knee injury sidelined Rashada for much of the 2023 season at ASU after he played in three games as a freshman.
A few months later, Rashada was on the move again, signing with powerhouse Georgia.
He did not play in any games for the Bulldogs.
Now, Rashada is returning to Northern California to play for Sacramento State, which has applied to move up to the FBS level of college football.
Rashada has three years of eligibility remaining.
How long he stays at Sacramento State remains to be seen. Even in high school, Rashada hopped around.
