League wants to get out the voters for annual meeting May 17

The League of Women Voters of Cupertino-Sunnyvale is holding its annual membership meeting Saturday, May 17, 10 a.m.-noon, at the Grand Hotel, 865 W. El Camino Real in Sunnyvale.

The meeting is an opportunity for members to get updated on the league’s activities in the past year and help determine the group’s direction by reaffirming or amending its previously adopted positions and proposing bylaw changes. The league will also review its past budget performance and approve its proposed budget for the next two years.

Symphonic band concert

The Cupertino Symphonic Band is hosting its annual Spring Concert on Sunday, May 18, at 3 p.m. at the Sunnyvale Community Center Ballroom, 550 E. Remington Drive, Sunnyvale. Admission is free, and snacks and coffee will be provided.

The band is always looking for new wind instrument and percussion players. For more information, visit www.cupertinosymphonicband.org.

AAPI Art Show

Cupertino’s AAPI Multicultural Festival and Art Show on May 24 will feature a juried art show highlighting artwork by or about Asian American and Pacific Islander artists and students. The festival also includes cultural booths, live performances and interactive activities that celebrate Cupertino’s diversity.

Entries for the art show will be accepted through Sunday, May 18, at art.visionaryarts.net/m/AAPI20250524.
The festival is set for noon to 4 p.m. at the Civic Center Plaza in front of Cupertino Community Hall, 10350 Torre Ave.
