The Golden State Warriors kick off the Western Conference semifinals Tuesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center in Minneapolis. Tipoff is at 6:30 p.m. PT.
The Warriors are coming off a seven-game series against the Rockets, winning Game 7 on Sunday night in Houston thanks to hot shooting from Buddy Hield and a veteran closing run from Steph Curry. After the game, the Warriors revealed that a speech from Draymond Green at a team dinner Saturday night galvanized them ahead of the winner-take-all game.
Next up are the Wolves, who beat the Lakers in the first round in just five games. The Warriors won the season series against Minnesota 3-1, but both teams have experienced massive turnarounds since they last played in January.
