OAKLAND — Two men were shot on Franklin Street Tuesday afternoon, according to the Oakland Police Department.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on the 1400 block of Franklin Street, authorities said.
Officers were in the vicinity when the gunshots were heard and located the two male victims, authorities added. The victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
