Bay Area News Group boys athlete of the week: Kaden Choi, Head-Royce baseball

Head-Royce baseball player Kaden Choi is the Bay Area News Group’s boys athlete of the week for May 5-10.

In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Choi had 48.68% to finish ahead of Newark Memorial track and field athlete Isaiah San Pedro, who was second at 40.69%.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.

Choi, a junior, went 4 for 5 and drove in 10 runs in Head-Royce’s 20-1 win over Redwood Christian.
