Grammy-winning opera composer Mason Bates will lead musicians in a multimedia concert on May 30, blending classical and electronic music in a performance to benefit EPACENTER, the youth creativity facility in East Palo Alto.

Bates’ works include “The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs.” He is currently preparing for the world premiere of his next opera, “The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay,” at the Metropolitan Opera next fall.
