PSG has exceeded all expectations in its first year without French phenom Kylian Mbappé. The club has won both Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France and is seeking its first Champions League title, which would give it the “treble.”
The treble slipped away from Inter Milan after they lost in the Italian Cup semifinals to rival AC Milan and lost in the Serie A finals by one point to Napoli. A Champions League trophy would certainly help ease the sting of these tough earlier losses. This is also Inter Milan’s second Champions League final in three seasons. They lost in 2023 to Manchester City.
