Grand theft: at approximately 3:40 a.m., two suspects approached the front porch of the victim’s residence in the 19000 block of Glen Brae Drive. The suspects took a bicycle valued at approximately $1,500 that belonged to a friend of the victim’s son.

Embezzlement: Between April 1 and June 10, an ex-employee of a Saratoga resident fraudulently used the victim’s credit card for a total loss of over $50,000.

Reckless driving, possession of a controlled substance: At approximately 11:07 p.m., deputies stopped a motorist at Quito Road and Cox Avenue for multiple traffic violations, including speeding, crossing double yellow lines and turning left on a red traffic signal. An investigation resulted in the arrest of the suspect for reckless driving, possession of a controlled substance and a restraining order violation. The suspect was booked into the main jail.

Vehicle burglary, grand theft: Between 6:48 a.m. and 7:05 a.m., someone forcibly pushed down a slightly opened window of a vehicle parked in the 19000 block of Vineyard Lane and entered the victim’s vehicle. The suspect took a purse and other items valued at approximately $6,000.
