California and Campolindo, both undefeated through three games, have leaped into the Bay Area News Group’s Top 10 in this week’s football rankings.
California jumped from 14th to eighth after winning on the road Friday over Monterey Trail-Elk Grove 35-14. Campo moved from 13th to 10th after edging Vanden 13-10.
Acalanes also made a move up, going from ninth to sixth after its 42-35 comeback win on Friday at St. Ignatius.
Newcomers this week are Monte Vista at 24th and Las Lomas at 25th.
Serra and St. Francis — both winless — fell out of the Top 10 but remained in the upper half of the Top 25 because their losses have come against some of the state’s top teams.
