The draft for the NBA All-Star game in its new format will be held live at 3:30 p.m. PT on the TNT pregame show Thursday, Feb. 6.

For the first time ever, the game will feature a mini-tournament with four teams and three games.

The rosters for three of the four teams will be chosen by TNT’s “Inside the NBA” commentators and team general managers Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith. They will each select eight players from the pool of 24 players voted as starters and reserves in each conference.

The fourth team, Team Candace, will be comprised of the Castrol Rising Stars tournament champion. The team is named after WNBA star and TNT analyst Candace Parker.

The NBA All-Star Game will be played Feb. 16, 2025 at the Chase Center in San Francisco, home to the Golden State Warriors. Warriors’ star Steph Curry has been chosen as a starter.
