The Campbell Union School District is staging a whimsical journey down the rabbit hole with “Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr.,” starring students from Rolling Hills Middle School. Performances of the musical are set for Nov. 6-7 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 8 at 5 p.m. at the Heritage Theatre, 1 W. Campbell Ave.

Toasting Bread`
Bread tribute band Toast will hit the Heritage Theatre stage on Nov. 12 to jam on hit tunes from the ’70s band. The concert starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $43-$59 at http://bit.ly/49gQbbc.
Interpreting open space
The Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority is hosting an interpretive host training Nov. 15 at the Tilton Ranch Complex in Morgan Hill. If the weather is uncooperative, the training will be held at the authority’s offices at 33 Las Colinas Lane in San Jose.
This training is a qualification for representing the authority as a community outreach volunteer, supporting large-scale public events such as Perseids meteor shower viewing and open access events as a preserve steward, as well as for participating in trail patrol and for leading hikes as a docent. This training is also required for volunteers who wish to help out as a part of the Habitat Protection Team at Máyyan ‘Ooyákma.
