Police still were searching for a suspect and did not identify anyone publicly. The shooting happened at Claudia Court and L Street, according to Antioch police Lt. Bill Whitaker.

Officers were called to the area about 8 p.m., and found a person wounded. Whitaker said that person had at least one gunshot wound and was treated at the scene. An ambulance then took the person to a hospital.

Police expect the person to survive.
