Northern California is under an updated high wind watch which was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 4:43 a.m. The watch is valid from 10 p.m. until Friday 10 a.m.
The NWS San Francisco CA said, “Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.”
“Strong winds may move loose debris, result in minor damage to property, and cause sporadic power outages. Travel could become difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. The combination of wind and moist soils will increase the risk for downed trees,” according to the NWS. “Secure loose outdoor objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind.”
