A healthy effort
Two students from Campbell Union High School District are among 18 students from Silicon Valley Career Technical Education (SVCTE) who qualified for state competition at the HOSA-Future Health Professionals regional competition last month.
HOSA, which stands for Health Occupations Students of America, is an internationally recognized student-led organization—one of two career and technical student organizations at SVCTE. HOSA’s competitive events provide a platform for students to expand their expertise and gain hands-on experience.
Giana Dolor of Westmont High School will showcase her skills as a nursing assistant, and Branham High School student Kira Phan will tap into her knowledge of sports medicine at the state competition, set for March 27-29 in Sacramento.
